Every row comes from a public, official source: an agency's own job posting (most on governmentjobs.com), a city or county page, a state licensing board posting, or a council document. Each agency page links to the exact source and shows the date we last checked it.
- Lateral bonus is the largest amount a lateral can receive as written in the source. Payout schedules and conditions are summarized from the posting.
- Pay is the posted range; hourly or monthly figures are converted to annual (hourly × 2,080, monthly × 12) and labeled.
- Out-of-state is "Yes" only if the posting describes a path for officers certified in another state, "No" only if it explicitly requires in-state certification, otherwise "Unknown".
- Blank fields mean the source did not state the value. We never estimate.
